What to Expect During Your DMK Facial Treatment

To tailor each session to your needs, we need to design a treatment that aligns with your goals. During this step, we take notes about your concerns, goals, medications, skin type and condition. The more you can let us know, the better we can assist.

With a soft brush and foamy cleanser, we remove all the makeup. Then, we choose an appropriate exfoliant to help loosen dead skin and impurities. A foam-like solution is applied next to prep the pores for extractions. We remove closed and open comedones with our gloved hands or tools. And after that, we apply a blend of pigment reducing drops and Vitamin C powder.

An enzyme mask is applied following the facial muscles and lymph nodes to encourage lymphatic drainage. The mask stays on for 45 minutes. As the mask dries, it hardens like cement. You might feel pulsing and itching. Most people take that time to relax and listen to soft music, an audiobook or simply fall asleep.

The mask will be removed with soft brushes, cleanser, sponges, and hot towels. You will feel tightening and toning immediately. A lot of times, the mask encourages a plasmatic effect - tiny red lines over your neck and face. We finish the treatment with DMK product application to restore a healthy acid mantle (water-lipid barrier) and protect your renewed barrier. We always apply SPF at the end.
