Take out contact lenses before we begin. Need a lens case? Just ask. Tell us about any allergies, and let us know if your eyes are red, itchy or swollen: we may need to wait.

Your esthetician checks your lashes, protects your lower lashes with under-eye pads and applies a professional remover only where the extensions are bonded. Once the adhesive releases, the extensions slide off. Nothing is pulled: if one holds on, we reapply and wait.
Clean lashes and honest advice, Before you leave
We clear away all remover and adhesive, wash your lashes with lash shampoo and look at your natural lashes together. If they need a rest, we will tell you. If they are healthy, we can plan a lash lift or tint for a later visit.

Do you still do lash extensions? No. Beauty Republic no longer applies new lash extensions or fills. We still remove extensions, including sets applied at other salons.
Can you remove extensions from another salon? Yes. We remove any set. Your esthetician checks your lashes and eyes before starting.
How long does it take, and how much is it? About 20 minutes, and it costs $30.
Does lash extension removal hurt? It shouldn't. Your eyes stay closed, and the remover goes only on the bonds, kept away from your eyes and skin. The extensions slide off once the adhesive releases, so nothing is pulled. Tell your esthetician right away if you feel any stinging.
Can you remove just a few extensions? Yes. Tell us which ones at your appointment, and we will remove only those.
Can I take my extensions off at home? Please don't pull or pick them off. Pulling can take your natural lashes with them. Book a professional removal instead.
Can I get a lash lift right after removal? Not automatically. We check your natural lashes after removal first. If they need a rest, we will suggest waiting; if they are healthy, we can plan a lash lift or tint.
What is your cancellation policy? Please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. Changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
