How long does a brow service take? Plan on 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the service: waxing or threading takes 15 minutes, tinting or shaping 25 minutes, tint and wax 35 minutes, and lamination 60 minutes, with or without tint.
How should I prepare for my brow service appointment? Come with your usual brow makeup on: it shows us the shape and color you like, and we cleanse before any product goes on. Skip retinoids and harsh exfoliants for 48 hours before. Not sure what you want? We look at your brows together, suggest the service, and map the shape before we start.
Can I get brow services if I am using retinoids or other exfoliating treatments? Yes, with a 48-hour break on each side. AHAs, BHAs, retinoids, and other exfoliants thin the skin and make it more reactive, so pause them 48 hours before and after any brow service. That keeps your skin at its best for hair removal, tint, or lamination.
Can I get eyebrow services if I have permanent makeup or microblading? Yes. Permanent makeup and microblading tattoo shape and color into the skin; they do not change how your natural hair grows. Lamination tames unruly hairs, tint matches the hair to your pigment shade, and waxing or threading clears strays for a clean finish.
Can I get brow services if I have sensitive or reactive skin? Some brow services may be suitable, depending on your skin and the treatment. We use professional products and can do a patch test if you ask. Tell us in advance so we can plan the gentlest approach. Many clients with sensitive skin prefer threading: nothing touches the skin, only the hair is pulled from the follicle.
Can I apply makeup right after brow services? After hair removal only (waxing, threading, or tweezing), yes: pencil or gel is fine, with clean brushes and wands. After a tint or a lamination, keep the brows dry for 24 hours and skip makeup that day unless you have to.
