Face Waxing & Threading

Does face waxing remove hair permanently? No. Waxing removes hair from the root, so the skin stays smooth for 3 to 4 weeks. The hair does grow back, but most clients notice it comes back softer and finer over time.

How painful is waxing your face? You might feel a quick pinch, but most of our clients find it very manageable. We use gentle techniques and quality products to keep the experience as comfortable as possible.

How often should I wax my face? Every 3 to 4 weeks is ideal. That gives the hair time to grow just enough for a clean, smooth result and keeps your skin looking fresh.

Does waxing facial hair cause stubble? Not at all. Waxing removes hair from the root, so when it grows back it feels soft and natural, not rough like shaving.

Can I get waxed if I use retinol or antibiotics? It’s best to take a short break from active skincare like retinol or antibiotics before waxing. This helps protect your skin and gives you the most gentle results. Threading is another option: it puts no wax on the skin.

Can I book an upper lip or chin wax on its own? Not on its own. Add upper lip or chin waxing (+$10 each) to any brow or lash visit, or upper lip or chin threading (+$15 each) to Brow Threading, and we do it in the same appointment. It does not fit on a 1-Week Mini Fill or a removal: those visits are too short. Want the whole face done? Full Face Waxing and Full Face Threading already include the lip and chin.

Do you offer Brazilian or bikini waxing? No, Brazilian and bikini waxing are no longer on our menu. Underarm waxing is still available as a +$25 add-on on a Brow Wax & Shape, full face waxing, lamination or lash lift visit. Should I choose face waxing or threading? Both remove hair from the root and last about the same. Waxing is quicker; threading puts no wax on the skin, so we recommend it if your skin is sensitive or acne-prone, or if you use retinoids.
