During light volume eyelash extensions refill, your esthetician will remove outgrown fans and replace them with new hand-made fans to maintain a fluffy look. Most clients come in every 2 weeks.

Lash Extension refill is a standard lash service essential for maintaining your extensions. Our lashes shed daily - 2-5 eyelashes per eye every day. When you have eyelash extensions it could be more noticeable and you can see them lying on your pillow or in a bathroom sink. This is completely normal. Eyelash refill can be performed after any set of extensions: classic, light volume, or Russian volume.

Lash Refill Process - What to Expect at Your Appointment
We will assess your existing extensions and ask questions to determine if we should fill gaps in your lashes with the exact same style or if we should make adjustments. Then we will clean your lashes with gentle eyelash shampoo to remove any debris and makeup residue.
We will use hydrogel patches to cover your bottom lashes. This will ensure comfort during the procedure as well as a hydrating and soothing effect for your undereye area.
Lash tech will first remove all the outgrown lashes either manually with tweezers or using a professional gel remover. This ensures your lashes will stay healthy and fresh looking! Then the new strands will be applied throughout the lash line.

We recommend scheduling refills every 2-3 weeks. This will ensure your lashes always look great. However, if you happen to lose more lashes than usual or need a quick follow-up eyelash service for a special event or between your regular fills you may want to schedule it even sooner.
Regular refills improve overall retention because your lashes are thoroughly cleaned during the appointment and all the outgrown lashes are removed. If you come every 2-3 weeks and follow aftercare recommendations, then occasionally you can come in 4 weeks and still have enough lashes for this service. However, we only recommend waiting this long if you are unable to come in earlier.
Yes, absolutely. This is actually quite a common situation. Some people start with classic and then realize they could use a little extra volume. Or the opposite. Clients sometimes switch from light volume to classic just because they prefer a more natural look. You should let your artist know what you’d like to change and we can do so with no issues.
A full set of eyelash extensions is the initial procedure where you come in with your bare lashes and have a full set applied. It takes about 2 hours. Refills are a maintenance service where we work on the existing extensions. You must have at least 30% of your lashes filled with extensions in order to schedule a maintenance service.
Avoid using mascara and heated tools to curl your lashes. Please refrain from drinking caffeinated drinks 1-2 hours prior to the appointment. Even though it is a quicker service than a full set, we still recommend using a bathroom right before the appointment. If you are running late please let us know ASAP.
Even though it is rare, it can happen. Sometimes due to hormonal changes in the body, allergies, or products with oil used around the eyes. If this happens to you during the first week after the service, please let us know and we will do our best to help. Even if it’s not due to a fault of our own, we can schedule a quick appointment to assess your lashes and even provide a complimentary service.
