Yes! The most important part of facial treatments to reduce pore size and clear blackheads is extractions. We will gently remove all the lesions that are safe to extract at the moment. We will also apply products to target blemishes and reduce inflammation. You will receive guidance on what to use at home and when to return for your next treatment.

We typically recommend scheduling other treatments at a different time. This will allow your skin to fully heal before doing something else. However, in most cases, we can combine it with a facial massage (helps soften pores prior to extractions) or dermaplaning (only for non-inflamed acne). A great add-on option would be a hand massage. It is performed towards the end of a facial and provides a true spa experience.

Yes. Our experienced esthetician will choose the appropriate products depending on your skin type and condition. If you have any specific conditions like rosacea, psoriasis (even if it is not active at the moment) it is crucial that you mention it to your esthetician during the consultation. Even though this clarifying facial is suitable for most people, sometimes we might recommend an alternative during the consultation if more appropriate.

We suggest coming for facials every 4-6 weeks. Your skin cells naturally shed approximately every 28 days (or faster for acne-prone type) and if not exfoliated, dead tissue builds up and clogs your pores. Your skincare will not penetrate; the oil will not be able to naturally flow and hydrate the surface of the skin. That is why monthly facials are recommended even if your complexion seems clear.
