During the consultation we assess your concerns, goals, and history of treatments, products, and medications. It will help us best tailor treatments to your unique needs: choose an appropriate blend of exfoliants and suggest a home-care routine based on beneficial ingredients.
Just like always, we cleanse first. Then, we apply an exfoliant. The epidermal layer of the back is more resilient and can tolerate stronger peels. We usually take advantage of it and you might feel some tingling and itching, but never burning. This facial also includes extractions if needed.
DMK Enzyme Body Mask is applied with a large brush to cover the entire area and stays on for 30 minutes. During this time, you will feel some itching, pulsing, and pressure. That’s the mask in progress: stimulating the cell's enzymatic activity, promoting lymphatic drainage, and bringing oxygenated blood to the surface.
We remove the mask with whipped cleanser and warm towels. Typically, we do not apply nourishing creams as most of the time people have to wear clothing over it. We use sebum-control powder that absorbs extra moisture and oils and also protects your pores from bacteria.
We recommend not washing your back for 24 hours. After 48 hours you can resume washing and exfoliating. Based on your concerns, we will recommend home-care products and we encourage you to follow them to enhance the results.
